Come and spend a summer afternoon here at Cherry Tree Willow creating your own woven willow swift.
 
Using traditional basketry trechniques you will learn how to create a flat weave with willow to produce a beautiful bird design that you can hang up in your home or garden.
 
If the weather is fine we will work outside [but shelter is available] and you can see the willow growing in situ.
You will also be given a 'kit' of materials to take home to make a second bird in your own time.
 
Please note that willow is not suitable for those with limited or painful mobility in their hands.
