10 x 25cm cuttings of Salix purpurea Cohu Blue grown here at Cherry Tree Willow without the use of chemicals.
 
Rainy has been growing willow here on her little smallholding since 2006 for living willow structures, basketry work, fuel, floristry, soil stabilisation, animal fodder, windbreaks and garden decoration. Through hands on experience she knows how each of her willow variety grows and behaves. Currently approx. 16 varieties are grown here to offer a range of colours, sizes, textures and catkin colours.
 
This variety has the earliest catkins of all that I grow. The little furry silver catkins arrive in late December / early January and are very useful in floral arrangement either fresh or dried.
 
Cherry Tree Willow is registered with, and inspected by, the Animal and Plant Health Agency [APHA] and all willow cuttings are issued with plant passports.
