Autumnal Willow Woodland Wall Hanging

Come and spend the day here at Cherry Tree Willow getting creative with nature as we celebrate the autumn season.
To begin the day Rainy will walk you though her wild little woodland to forage for fallen leaves, acorns, conkers, mosses, honeysuckle stems and textural twiggy bits that catch your eye, then its back to the sheltered outdoor workshop for elevenses.
You'll then be shown traditional weaving techniques to create your wall hanging with guidance as to how to include your foraged finds.
The rest of the day will be spent focusing, chatting, drinking tea / coffee, learning, eating cake,  discovering and creating.
 
There is unlimited tea and coffee throughout the day as well as a delicious, freshly cooked vegetarian lunch, along with home made treats from the Aga (5* hygiene rating). Semi skimmed cows milk is available with a selection of regular and decaffeinated teas and coffees. Apologies but specific diets cannot be catered for. 
 
We will be working under the shelter of the outdoor workshop  so please dress accordingly with warm comfortable layers and sturdy footwear. 
This workshop is not suitable for those with limited or painful joint mobility.
The session is held at Cherry Tree Willow, 42 Bury Old Road, Ainsworth BL25PF.
