Come and spend an early autumn evening here at Cherry Tree Willow creating your own woven willow platter - ideal for serving bread or fruit, using as a trivet for a hot pan or kettle or as part of a decorative seasonal display.
 
Using traditional basketry trechniques you will learn how to create a flat weave with willow to produce a beautiful platter / tray design that can be both functional and decorative.
 
If the weather is fine we can take a walk around the plot to see the willow growing in situ.
 
Please note that this workshop is not suitable for those with limited or painful mobility in their hands.
