Have you often thought that you'd like to teach in-person workshops as part of your small business but weren't sure where to start? Or maybe you've made plans but just need some encouragement and support to boost your confidence? Then Teach Your Own Workshops here at Cherry Tree Willow is for you.
 
This one to one, in person workshop is aimed at those already skilled and experienced in their subject such as:
cake decorating, knitting, floristry, art, pottery, basketry, plastering, DIY etc
You will be learning how to teach others regardless of the skill you plan to teach.
 
Subjects covered include:
sourcing venues
insurance
demonstrating v teaching
assessing skills and feedback
costing and payment options
session planning
identifying skills and breaking them down
communication
organisation
identifying your customer
marketing and promotion
risk assesments
feedback
 
You will leave better informed, motivated and confident to plan your own workshops. You'll also have a PDF [or printed if preferred] of notes, proformers and checklists and the reassurance of ongoing support if its needed.
 
Refreshments and a light lunch are included.
 
Rainy has over 30 years experience teaching adults both full and part time in the public and private sectors.
