Height: approx 1.5 - 2m
Soil Type: moist, well drained and moderately fertile. Willow will not thrive in sandy, chalky, free draining soils.
Aspect: full sun
Planting: plant as soon as possible. Keep moist in the pot at all times until planting.
Hardiness: fully hardy
Foliage: deciduous soft green narrow oval leaves.
Catkins: appear in early spring if stems have not been cut back.
Uses: A popular willow for weaving due to its fine rods / stems. A decorative shrub for the garden.
Maintenance: Cut stems right back in the winter after leaf fall.
Supplied in a 1ltr, recyclable pot of peat free compost.
Cherry Tree Willow is registered with, and inspected by, the Animal and Plant Health Agency [APHA] and all willow cuttings are issued with plant passports.
