Floral Tea for two at a time to suit you.

Come and spend a delightful time walking around the flower beds in peace and privacy, cutting your own choice of blooms to take home and maybe taking a floral selfie or two. Beautiful, fragrant, seasonal flowers, grown without the use of chemicals, all waiting to be part of your own personal arrangement. You and your guest[s] will have the cutting garden to yourself for up to two hours.
On arrival you will be given a pair of snips and a metal flower bucket to use, and given clear instructions on how to cut. A sign with clear written instructions will also be displayed in the flower bed area.
You are then free to cut flowers at your leisure, though someone will be at hand at all times incase you need assistance.
After half an hour or so your choice of drinks, and home made cake, will be served for you to enjoy at your leisure. You may then continue cutting your flowers.
When it is time to leave, your snips and flower bucket will be collected and your blooms wrapped in brown paper for the journey home.
As a guide, your flower bucket will hold about 35 ish stems, depending on the flowers chosen - the bigger the bloom, the less flowers will fit in the vase. Stems must be cut as advised and be no more than 1.5 x the height of the bucket.
Flowers that may be ready to cut include dahlias, cosmos, sunflowers, ammi, sanguisorba, sweet peas, snapdragons, grasses and calendula.
Dogs are not permitted on the field.
Access to the field is via 6 fairly steep stone steps [we are on a hill] so we are not wheelchair accessible.
Bringing a clean bucket, large jug or vase to transport your flowers home in water [we'll supply the water] will ensure that your blooms remain in peak condition.
Floral Teas take place outside so please come dressed appropriately in suitable layers and sturdy footwear - no heels or flipflops please. If heavy rain is forecast you will be offered alternative dates / times. Sessions still take place if only lights showers are forecast. Cover is available for you to enjoy your refreshments.
You are welcome to bring your own snips if preferred. Gloves are not provided so please bring your own if you wish to wear them.
This booking is for two adults. Additional adults can be booked using the drop down options.
